During the Milan Design Week, in which Azimut Yachts participate with its latest generation boat Azimut S7, in a setting that has intrigued, fascinated and charmed thousands of visitors, the brand has presented its two new exclusive collaborations with Alberto Mancini and Vincenzo De Cotiis Architects, in the wake of his search for a new and more contemporary stylistic language on board.
On January 20, 2018, at the 2018 Düsseldorf International Boat Show, Azimut S7 was named the overall winner of the prestigious “European Power Boat of the Year 2018” (EPY) award in the “over 45 feet” category.
One of the undisputed assets of the model, which was unveiled last September at the Cannes Boat Show, is its highly innovative layout. The exteriors, designed by Stefano Righini, embellish the characteristic lines of the brand’s collection with diamond-shaped deckhouse windows, in a solution that gives the boat character and promises to amaze with its plays of reflected light. The S7 is the only yacht in its segment with four spacious cabins, a beach platform expander and a garage for both tender and jet ski. Available in both coupé and sportfly versions, it surprises with its sumptuous materials and the unusual interior design by Francesco Guida.
At the prestigious German boat show, the Italian yacht builder is showing six models, including two absolute novelties: Atlantis 51 and Azimut Flybridge 55. The preview also provides an opportunity to take stock of the situation since the start of the yachting season (September 2017), which for Azimut Yachts has been a very good one, with the brand reporting order book growth of +30% against the same period the previous year.
Azimut Yachts strengthens its hand in Austria and Germany with a new exclusive dealer to handle these two markets.
Azimut Yachts Austria&Germany is managed on an exclusive basis by YachtWerk, a newco with headquarters in Bavaria that draws on collaboration and synergy between the brand’s storied dealer Timone Yachts and Splendid Yachting, a team of German yacht market professionals specialising in sales, customer care and after-sales service.
The choice of a new dealer to handle these two key markets for Azimut Yachts reflects the new brand strategy, La Dolce Vita 3.0, and the new team will be working hard to promote its values, energy and enthusiasm.
The management of Timone Yachts has been working with Azimut for many years, gaining an intimate knowledge of the product and a deep understanding of the key factors in the brand strategy. Timone Yachts also brings the company many years’ experience in the industry, multi-faceted synergy in the service area and an international organisation that covers the entire Italian Adriatic coastline. The YachtWerk team is German, young and professional.
This winning combination will therefore offer premium-level assistance, in terms of both coverage and the efficiency and effectiveness of the resources involved.

Azimut Yachts is increasing its presence on the Asian market where it already detains, since years, a leadership position thanks to a strategy of strong local presence and capillarity of the local dealers’ network, which allows the shipyard to focus on customers and their desires. Furthermore, in collaboration with dealers and partners, Azimut Yachts is always present at the major boat shows, so to maintain a direct contact with its owners and potential customers. For instance, at the Dubai Boat Show, scheduled from February 28th to March 4th 2017, visitors have the occasion to go on board several Azimut Yachts’ models: representing 3 of the 5 Collections there are, moored in the marina, 5 yachts: from the smallest Atlantis 43 to the 24 meters 77 S, along with the two Flybridge 66 and 50.

Currently we are present in UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Egypt, a strategy that has already brought excellent results both in terms of sales and customer satisfaction. To assist and support our customers throughout the sales and after-sales process, new offices were opened in the UAE and Qatar, in partnership with local dealers”. Talking about the product offer, Chiaussa added: “In addition to investments for the launch of brand new models, we have expanded the possibilities of customization on our yacht, so to better meet the needs and desires of the Middle Eastern owners. Currently we are focusing on the Grande Collection, of which we have already delivered several units in the past season, and for which we plan to launch – in Dubai – two new models (including our flagship Grande 35Metri) over the next 12 months”.
At the Dubai Boat Show Azimut Yachts is exhibiting two different versions of its 77 S, designed – as the whole S Collection – by Stefano Righini, that differs for the internal layout, the Atlantis 43 – classy and sporty – and two models from the Flybridge Collections: the 50 Fly, a sporty yacht that, just 16 meters long, can offer a 17,5 sqm fly, and the 66 Fly, state-of-the-art technology, whose flybridge is the biggest in its category.
