CMC MARINE: AT THE METS 2016 IN AMSTERDAM OUTLINES THE ACTIVITY BUDGET
At the Amsterdam’s Mets, the largest marine equipment exhibition in the world, the Pisan Company is exhibiting its range of innovative products and will present its strategies for future development, after another year of growth. 2015-2016 was the tenth consecutive year of uninterrupted growth for CMC Marine, with an increase in revenue of 34% over the previous year and an increasingly international market.
From November 15th to the 17th CMC Marine will be in Amsterdam for the Mets (Marine Equipment Trade Show) with a stand in the SuperYacht Pavilion to present its range of patented electric stabilizer fins and thrusters, for yachts from 20 meters up. The Mets is once again confirmed as the most important international exhibition for the industry ‘insiders’: the place to be for the Company. CMC Marine, in fact, points to a strong expansion in foreign markets, as recently confirmed during the Company’s first business convention, which took place few weeks ago in Tuscany.
One of the internal workshops’ topic was the short and medium term expansions strategies. Great goals have been achieved in 2015-2016, with an increase of 34% in sales over the previous year, leading to a 10M € turnover, followed by an enhancement of the team, increased by several units mainly in the technical department, a trend that is expected to remain constant also in 2017. The Company keeps valuing its human resources and at the same time is making significant investment in facilities and research.
Such investments have already been rewarded by the market with a strong expansion of the customer portfolio in Italy, where CMC Marine detains over the 50% of the market share, and abroad especially in Turkey (with 20% more systems sold compared to 2015). Figures that will increase in the future, thanks to the new strategies that the Tuscan company will continue to implement.
In CMC Marine’s future, a 600,000 € investment in research for new products’ development on one hand, and expansion in foreign markets, on the other, with a special focus on the customer experience continuous improvement.
